panasonic digital cameraPanasonic’s multi-tasking Intelligent Image Stabilization system makes it easy to capture beautiful photos every time. MEGA O.I.S., which is a standard feature across the entire line of Lumix cameras, compensates for the effects of hand-shake, making it possible to capture clear, crisp photos indoors, at night, or when taking macro close-ups. However, MEGA O.I.S. cannot suppress the motion blur caused by a subject moving as the photo is being snapped. In this case, the camera’s Venus Engine III image-processing engine - detects whether the subject is moving and, as necessary, raises the ISO setting and shutter speed according to how fast the subject is moving and the light conditions.

Panasonic DMCLS70 is equipped with a bright 3x optical zoom lens that captures beautiful shots of people and landscapes. Use the Extra Optical Zoom when you want to pull the subject in just a little closer. It extends the 3x optical zoom ratio to 4.5x at resolutions of 3 mega pixels or less, by using the central part of the CCD. The DMCLS70 helps you get clear shots every time. Panasonic invented the MEGA O.I.S.  System to fight against hand-shake, the major cause of blurry images.

A smaller LCD and a bit of bulk shouldn’t steer you away from the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS70S. This dig cam packs 7.2-MP resolution, a 3X optical zoom, a two-inch LCD, 19 scene modes, and some manual controls.  A noteworthy inclusion is optical image stabilization, which isn’t normally found on entry-level models. Outdoor photos and a shot of a floral arrangement produced pleasant results with accurate colors and crisp focus. The image of our colleague appeared under saturated, however. Startup time and the time between shots were both speedy, taking less than two seconds for each. The Lumix DMC-LS70S also captures 30-fps VGA video, which is suitable for online applications.

Additionally:-

The Intelligent ISO Control function, made possible by the Venus Engine III, detects subject movement and adjusts the ISO setting and shutter speed to best suit the movement and light conditions automatically. The 2.0-inch LCD screen on the DMCLS70 has a total of 86,000 pixels. The difference is easy to see, with much greater clarity, both when shooting and during playback. Versatile Scene Modes are a great LUMIX feature. And the Scene Mode list display makes them even easier to select. You can choose from a total of 18 situations, including the new Sunset and Pet modes, for settings that match your subject.

Panasonic Lumix LS70 Reviews:-          panasonic digital camera1

# Dcresource.pricegrabber Review: - This is a nice little camera, I like it. Picture quality is OK, flash is excellent. Has built in memory for a dozen pictures, SD card slot for the rest. Optical Image Stabilization is a nice plus, it really works. Unfortunately, in a video mode, audio is not recorded. 2 inch LCD is enough to see pictures clearly.

# Sumaria Review: - Just set the mode dial to the heart symbol, aim, and press the shutter button. The camera handles the complicated settings automatically and the settings menu is simplified, so there’s no stress, no confusion and no worries. You can even compensate for backlighting by just pressing the cursor key. You’ll find it easy to take clear, beautiful shots - even if you know very little about digital cameras.

# Laptop Magazine Review: - The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS70 and they write, “A noteworthy inclusion is optical image stabilization, which isn’t normally found on entry-level models (others include digital stabilization at best). On our tests this OIS technology proved effective when shooting cars driving through Manhattan and also helped combat our hand shakes.”

# Digital Camera Info Review: - the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS70 and thinks this is the camera for budget conscious people who are into no thinking picture taking. Just turn the camera on and it’ll take care of everything. While the camera does everything it’s supposed to the review as a little put off by the fact that it had no audio recording in video mode. With a friendly price tag and optical image stabilization this camera is a serious consideration and it’s also a threat to the competition.
