Like its predecessor the SD900, the SD950 is housed in an attractive, gently curved titanium enclosure. The SD950 features an advanced 12.1-megapixel sensor, a bright, high-resolution 2.5-inch LCD, Canon’s DIGIC III image processor, and an image-stabilized 36mm-to-133mm f/2.8-to-f/5.8 zoom lens. The range of focal lengths on this 3.7x optical zoom lens are good for day-to-day shooting, although users wanting a wider field of view might prefer Canon’s excellent PowerShot SD870 IS.
