The Canon’s new collection of digital compact cameras, including the new Canon PowerShot A570 IS, were launched worldwide. Not all the new models have undergone revolutionary changes, but they regularly have a Megapixel update, the odd new feature and small aesthetic changes. The new Canon A570 IS camera is a compact camera from the PowerShot A-5xx series. It is actually a luxurious version of the PowerShot A560 camera. An important addition is the integration of the optical image stabilizer, a feature that distinguishes the Canon PowerShot A570 IS from its competitors in its class.

# Canon PowerShot A570 IS Review is taken from Imaging-resource:- The Canon A570 IS body includes a 2.5 inch LCD display with a fairly average 115,000 pixel resolution, along with a real-image optical zoom viewfinder. Other Canon A570IS features include 35mm-equivalent focal lengths ranging from 35 to 140mm, a maximum aperture that varies with focal length from f2.6 at wide-angle to f5.5 at telephoto, nine-point autofocusing, a maximum ISO sensitivity of 1600, three metering modes (evaluative, center-weighted average, and spot), seven white balance modes, plus custom mode, and 12 scene modes.

# Canon PowerShot A570 IS Review is taken from Dcresource:- Canon includes a 16MB memory card along with the A570, which is quite small for a 7MP camera, holding just four photos at the highest quality setting. So, unless you already have one sitting around, you’ll need to buy yourself a larger memory card. The A570 supports Secure Digital, MultiMedia, and the new SDHC memory card formats, and I’d recommend picking up a 512MB or 1GB card along with the camera. Buying a high speed card (50X or higher) is a good idea, as it does improve camera performance.

Back in February Canon announced another addition to the range in the shape of the Powershot A560 and A570 IS - twin replacements for the A540 (and the latest in a succession of models going back to the A75). The cameras are almost identical, with the A570 IS sporting optical image stabilization as an extra (the A570 IS is actually the lowest priced A series camera with this feature).

The A570 IS can capture JPEG still images in seven pixel sizes: Large (3072 x 2304), M1 (2592 x 1944), M2 (2048 x 1536), M3 (1600 x 1200), S (640 x 480), Postcard (1600 x 1200) and Widescreen (3072 x 1728). Quality (compression) of these images may be at the Superfine (high quality), Fine (normal quality), or Normal (more images) levels.

Movies may be captured in AVI format at 640 x 480 or 320 x 240 pixels and 15 or 30 frames per second (fps) for a maximum of 4GB; 320 x 240 pixels at 60 fps for a maximum of one minute; 160 x 120 at 15 fps for a maximum of three minutes.
