Canon Powershot A470 Review
The Canon PowerShot A470 is one of the best examples of this trend. With a price tag well below $150, it produces surprisingly good pictures. It isn’t the prettiest camera available and it doesn’t have any flashy features, but for the price, it’s hard to beat.
Canon Powershot A470 Digital Camera Reviews:-
Goodgearguide.com about Canon Powershot A470 Digital Camera Review:- In our speed tests the A470 impressed. It exhibited a tiny shutter lag of 0.07 seconds, 1.6 seconds between shots and a 1.7-second power-up time. It was also really speed in terms of general operation, with no slow down or processing lag to speak of.
Digitalcamerareview.com about Canon Powershot A470 Digital Camera Review:- If you can only spend just over $100, the A470 does about everything a casual snapshooter needs a camera to do. Serious shooters looking for a bargain, however, would do better moving up one level. With some incredibly powerful, formerly mid-priced compacts falling below the $150 mark of late, there are probably better deals for users looking to learn the picture taking ropes – many of these step-up models also have optical/mechanical image stabilization, which the PowerShot A470 lacks. But if a simple camera is all you want, all you need, or all you can afford, the A470 is an easy choice to feel good about.

Review.zdnet.com about Canon Powershot A470 Digital Camera Review:- Noise mars the A470’s otherwise very nice pictures. Grain starts to appear at ISO 200, and becomes quite noticeable at ISO 400. From ISO 800 to the camera’s maximum sensitivity of ISO 1,600, fuzz saturates the picture, giving everything a felt-like texture. Besides the noise, however, the camera’s pictures look good. Fine details appear crisp and clear, especially for a sub-$150 camera. Minor barrel distortion appears on the edges of pictures at the widest lens position, but it doesn’t seriously hurt picture quality. Colors look generally neutral, though they sometimes appear slightly cooler than usual. If you keep sensitivity low, the A470 will produce good-looking prints. Even at higher ISO settings, pictures look clear enough to e-mail or post to the Web.
